On recruits before a player signs, but what about the players? Just wondered, you never know about the frickin NCAA!

I would assume he means the same thing. Im sure if a current player said something about a recruit that a coach would be all over him and it wouldnt be pretty if something was said in a negative light. I would assume that its ok for them to say something about being friends or something along those lines. I mean arent current players tweeting with current recruits?

Ok, guess I should have made myself clear; I am not talkin about a recruit badmouthing another recruit! I am referring to the current players on the team. I know the coach can't say a recruits name in public before he signs, but what about players that are on the team? How far can they go in discussing potential recruits? Man! I really don't know how someone would think I was referring to one recruit bashing another who backed out on his commitment!

It was a hypothetical situation in which a recruit would call out another recruit which is what I thought the OP was referring to.
