Coach Miles had to be perfect in 4 games against teams ranked in the top 3 in the nation...

Only one of these games were played in Tiger stadium...1 of the 4...

One game was a rematch...

tough odds, we had a bad game...time to move on

Recruiting is heating up nicely (NSD tomorrow)...Scout has us ranked #5...We have a good shot at landing a 5 star JUCO WR and 4/5 Star Linebacker

Our Swag is back....our wounds are healed...

We enter next season #1 (When was the last ime we were ranked #1 2 seasons in a row?)...

After next season, Miles will have about 98-99 wins in 8 seasons! Charlie McClendon was 137-59-7 in 16 seasons! Miles is doing this in an era where the SEC is the premier football conference in America..competing against the likes of Saban, Urban, Spurrier and the like... Wow!

Let's get back to having fun like never before and support this team and our coach!

We are going roll a lot of teams next year

This thread will be anchored. Too much logic and positive vibes eeking their way through. TD.com doesn't stand for this.

Is it okay if we just move on without "swag" ?

Otherwise ... agree ... time to move on and look forward to more great years.

I don't think my young sons realize how spoiled they are regarding LSU football.

I think he just means it was a hell of a hand we got dealt, having to face that schedule. To come out unscathed would have required complete perfection and we came close. But I would trade Nov. 5th for Jan. 9th

Been time to move on, but some never will. Bitching/doom and gloom spreading is what some do best.

We had an elite/remarkable season. We reached our 2nd BCSCG in 5 seasons and had our 1st undefeated SEC season since 1961.

We have talented players who continue to excell and a coaching staff who continues to produce the best results in LSU history by finishing #1, #2, #3, #5, #8, and #17 in the last 7 seasons.

We will have talented players sign Wed., we will be nationally ranked somewhere in the Top 5 to start next season, we will have another fine year in 2012, and this is the most rewarding time in LSU football history to be a LSU fan!

Personally, I'm riding a high I hope never ends and thanking the players/staff/fans for making it so.

Apex. Dude. We lost because our coach is a fricking boob. He saw to it that all other accomplishments were rendered moot, and Bama fans can forever punk us out with that totally dominant performance. With history and OUR legacy on the line, they merely added another chit to their stack.

We can now be sure that he'll screw up whatever wet dream of a team he's dealt. You can set your fricking watch to it.

Personally, I'm going to slip back into 90's mode and just watch the great players play. That's the only real reason to watch this shite anyway.

Next season should be great, but that's not relative to this season. It's two completely different arguments. I can be very unhappy about how last season ended, while at the same time anticipate that we might be damn good next year. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

"Forgetting about" what happened on Jan 9th and sweeping it under the rug only ensures that we may let it happen again. Keeping it in the light and reminding Miles not to frick it up again next year is the only way to keep up the pressure. He has the habit of laying some very large eggs in critical situations, then turning around and delivering a miracle. It's not a consistent way to coach.

Wonder how we beat #1, #4, and #5 this season or how come after 7 seasons NO HC has a winning record over our "fricking boob"

Here's a thought...maybe you are the "fricking boob", huh.

To Lonnie4LSU
LES is a sub par coach who recruits well. We one
due to superior talent.

"Our Swag is back...."

I think the OP made some good points, but if there is one thing I would like to see the 2012 have a little LESS of, it is "swag." Confidence? Sure. But I think you can lose your edge when you get overconfident.

If you think LSU has won more games in the last 7 YEARS than any other BCS program, has more SEC wins in the last 7 YEARS than any other SEC program, has more West titles in the last 7 YEARS than any SEC program, has as many SEC titles as any SEC program in the last 7 YEARS, and has reached the the BCSCG twice in the the the last 5 YEARS, solely cause LSU "recruits well" then you are college/SEC football mentally challenged and I wonder what LSU football team you followed since 1958....with all due respect.

Talent.

When it comes to coaching, yes, he is a boob - and a destructively stubborn boob at that.

A certain key LSU player clerks for a very well-known lawyer in BR who is a close friend. I know the story, straight from eye witnesses. So frick you. So frick you.

The dude is a boob. Have a great day.
