LSU vs USC in Miami.....book it. Then the frustration from back in the 03 season will come pouring out finally.
Massive talent and we stay the same or upgrade every position. Bye weeks set up right for us. LSU is going to put a hurtin on some teams in 2012.

Honestly, the fan haters is as bad as anything. It's a new season, you can put the guard down. If people want to say stupid stuff, just let them. It's why we have the "rant."

However, like you said, this is why we have the rant. It goes both ways.
You bitch about a game that's a month old, be prepared to hear/get some criticism.
That's what I mean. But it's like some of the haters feel they can piss and moan every damn day about it. Which they certainly can.
But damn, it'll be an even longer off season.....

Yeah, I feel it's time to be over it, but some people have a longer mourning period than others. It was the NCG, some folks are taking it hard. Let em mourn.
People will be done with it by the time the spring practice rolls around.

i agree, a healthy and centered team next year should contend for titles (sec and bcsnc)...
can our linebackers cover in space? can our corners continually step up replacing top five picks in the league? can we establish a true balance offensively?
yes to all three .... 27-1 in two years

I still think the defense will be good enough to win all of their games, just like they were last year. I can't see how the offense wouldn't improve with a likely upgrade at QB.

Here's an outsiders perspective.
Expectations are dangerous. The fall can be terrible. I hate the #1 position. To deal with it you need LSU to be pissed off about the NC game going into spring practice. They need to realize it was a really a close game if the offense had been 2 dimensional anything was possible. We couldn't score anything but FG's through 3.5 qtrs. Or they can forget about it and feel entitled in the spring then summer practice.
Coming off the 09' NC game a sense of satisfaction set in for 2010 for Bama. I heard it all year. It wasn't until we lost the AU game that we got mean and nasty, and killed MSU in the bowl game. They were pissed off all spring then the tornados hit and we had even more motivation. No one wanted the #1 spot until the end but I guess we would have had if we won Nov5. I'm glad we didn't because I'd bet real money the NC game would have been a toss up.
Next year we are top 5 because of all the defensive players we lose and Richardson on offense. The only game we'll be unfavored in is in BR and that's just where I'd want it.

expectations can be a bitch, agree. Ya'll outplayed us, brought home the trophy, and thats history. It's extremely difficult to argue that LSU is fielding one helluva football team next season. The heartfelt warning you are giving us sends a different message as far as I am concerned. I take from it that our expectations are right, and you looking for a little self medicating feel good coping mechanism
