Anyone watch the new Kill la Kill last night?

It was awesome. That show is going to be great.

Same for Kyoukai no Kanata and Log Horizon.

They are off to great starts.

Post 900!!

Was that the 3rd episode? I've only seen 2

Haven't seen kyoukai no kanata, how is it? I saw the first 2 of Log Horizon, I'm enjoying it. Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova has also been good.

The 1st she fights the boxing captain, the 2nd she fights the tennis captain, and the 3rd is the showdown with the president.

The final fight was really good.

It's really good. Probably my favorite of the new shows. You should definitely check it out.

So awesome, Mako's speech had me rolling
It's interesting that instead of the power of manliness being on display (TTGL), it's the power of sexiness this time

Still need to watch the 3rd episode of LH, but KnK has been really good so far. I'm enjoying it a lot

Mako is an awesome addition to the show. When she jumped in, I cracked up.

Her whole family is awesome.

Spent a lot of time catching up on stuff today. My wife asleep on my shoulder and I couldn't move for a solid 3-4 hours.

Not sure if I linked this before : LINK

You should watch it anyway.

Edit: That video is a good power level gauge. Only like 3 or 4 shows I don't immediately recognize.

So, because of the awesomeness of Kill la Kill, I decided to finally watch TTGL.

I just finished episode 8. Damn it Kamina. Damn it.

What's the deal with this? Is this just what I've always known as Gurren Lagann or is there something newer with the TT? I gave Gurren Lagann a try a long time ago when it was on netflix but didn't stick with it. May try it again.

It's full name is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I'm 13 episodes in and I really like it.

It's the same people who are doing Kill la Kill, a really good new show.

Ignore the crappy Rossieu arc around 17-19 and ride it till the end.

Love Gurren lots.

So I took your advice and checked out kyoukai no kanata, 3 episodes only but I think it's pretty solid and has plenty of potential.

This season I am on: Log Horizon, Kill La Kill, Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova aka Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Ars Nova, Kyoukai no Kanata.

I dropped Copellion, but might pick it back up.

What else from this current season is good/worth checking out, and what else from 2013 is good?
