Pretty cool run through a lot of good bands and explains a lot about each band.

A decent list considering no matter what you do people are going to have problems with who was put where.
My list of complaints about their list:
- Prince at number 7 is WAAAAY too high.
- Hall & Oats shouldn't be anywhere near this list period.
- The Who IMO should've been in the top 10.

It really isn't. Prince was great at everything. One of the best producers and song writers of his time (I was born after his time, fwiw, lol)

I started watching at around 70 and made it to the end. Thoroughly enjoyed the show.
Some friends and I created our own top 100 song lists a while back. Quite an exercise.

I am unreasonably addicted to VH1 list shows. They could rank the 50 best tour managers, and I'd watch. And get outraged by #17.
Though I think Prince is perfectly denfensible at #7. I think his work stands up better than any of the other 80s superstars. These lists are inherently conservative, which is fine, so I like when they have a slightly off kilter choice. It gives the list some interest other than wondering who will be #2 behind the Beatles.
