I felt bad for a couple days, but you have to learn to have real expectations. We shite the bed Jan 9th no doubt, but to act like you'd prefer an 8 win season over that is absurd. Not many people realistically thought this season would be as good as it was. Hell, people we saying shite like "LSU will not make it out of September without 3 Ls".

Yes, we lost the opportunity to go undefeated. Yes, we lost what now seems like the worst way possible (though it isn't). But there is always next year. We need to be thankful we are an elite program who has the privilege of calling a 10+ win season a dissapointment.

I am feeling sick all over again today thinkijg abt the Bama loss. Somehow I feel much worse after this season than at the end of the 8-5 season from 2008. You just can't lose like the way LSU did in the last game of the year. It seems like the entire season was all for nothing. A wasted opportunity. Anybody else feel that way?

I lived through the 90s and hell pre 2003. When people are starting to ask this question then you know our fanbase as become a bunch of idiots. At the same time it means you have arrived as a program so you gotta take the good with the bad. By the way you do know that we got embarrassed on national tv by Florida on the road and destroyed by Ole Miss at home in 2008 dont you? Our defense gave up over 50 points not just once but twice that season. The talent was way down. It was miserable. By the way we should have beaten undefeated bama that year too. Hell of a game coaching by the mad hatter.

However painful it was to watch us lose the last game of the year...we still played a great season.
You can't take that away no matter if we didn't bring home the "best" trophy at the end.
How can you say it was all for nothing? Anybody can have a bad day (JJ/CLM). I mean yeah, it crushed all of my hopes and dreams to watch us lose that bad and not give JL a chance to at least see what he could do...but what you gonna do?? I'm sure there will be plenty of other frustrating games to watch as long as we have a coach with no offensive wits...I can't wait!!
