Without rooting around on the webs, just what I've either read or saw on TV. They fell as if the 9ers are getting dissed by the point spread. These are the clowns so far picking the 9ers:

Greenie
Cowherd
Florio
Sapp
Collinsworth
Phil Simms
Hugh Douglas
josh336

Feel free to add any others you may know for a good laugh!!!

Collinsworth is the only name on that list I have any amount of sports respect for.

Mike and Mike both picked the Niners this morning (though only one of them thought the 49ers would win outright, the other took the points) and Bill Barnwell at Grantland couldn't find a single reason why the Saints have a shot.

Pete Prisco. This alone guarantees victory for the Who Dats.

It's not that picking the 49ers is an outrageously stupid/disrespectful pick, but there does seem to be a lot of famously stupid/incompetent pickers on that list, which makes me happy.

We are only a 3.5 point favorite. Hardly a lock to win the game. Not surprised at all experts are picking the Niners. It's gonna be a 4-quarter war no doubt. I like our chances though.

I'm glad you didn't list Bayless and J. Hill on your list of experts. But you have Greenie. He's an expert newspaper reader, and D bag.

GFY! I don't care who they pick, I think it's funny. Saints 30-20.

Of course he did. Skip's people are very fond of the city of San Francisco.

Clearly you don't care, you just made a thread with a list to cry about, nah, you don't care. Especially since its not ridiculous to pick a 13-3 team playing at home.

It will be a tough game. Reading this board this week, you would think we are facing a 6 win team

Apparently it's the cool thing to do now is to only reference the Saints in what way their opponent will beat them these days.
49rs? really?
Not one person I've heard talk about how many scrub games they played from the West. Baltimore suffocated Smith with blitzes and expect Williams to do the same. The Pitt win is pretty worthless considering all the injuries and their quick exit from the playoffs.
For some reason I'm just not that worried. Unless a mud storm pops up between now and then where our WR's are swimming in their routes, I don't think their defense will stand up.

Agree Pitt win is meaningless, but Baltimore's blitzes are typically better at actually, y'know, getting to the QB than ours are. We better get there tomorrow.

listening to RJ Bell with pregrame.com...he says Vegas agrees with the Herd taking the 49ers +4

said there has been only 2 home dogs since 1982. Mentioned 49ers D suits well vs Jimmy Graham and our RBs.

Also said the public loves prolific offensive teams. Said the Saints have covered 9 straight games ATS which is about a 500 to 1 odds.

Big bettors took Saints at +3.5 but now that's it's at 4 they've been taking the 49ers.
