I'd give anything to be back in my home state of LA or ANYWHERE else for that matter. At least in Louisiana everyone else is still mourning. Here, in Mobile, AL, It's like the game just ended every day I wake up. Radio stations just laughing it up about our performance. Co-workers giving me their typical BAMA arrogance and ragging me to Hell and back. I have the greatest respect for the BAMA football, but their fan base has to be the worst. I can barely stand this. Any other Tigers out there stuck in my same situation?

Normally I always defend my Tigers from the usually delusional Bammers, but I have NO grounds to stand on this time. None.

Knowing BAMA fan's behavioral tendencies, I'll be stuck in this nightmare for longer than I'd ever wish on anyone. I love all of Tiger Nation. I hate this feeling we all have. Especially for my Tigers in Alabama.

Just suck it up and nod. I lived in Huntsville in the 90's. It sucked. Probably 100 times worse this week though.

I'd stay away from the radio. All I have listened to is the NFL channel on Sirius. I know they won't talk about it.

Just remind them that you don't need to define your life through a college football team.

Alabama people seriously have nothing else to live for.

I'm just not talking to anyone, not picking up the paper, not turning on the TV, not getting on Facebook, not looking at email, and not answering the phone for the next 6 months or so.

Was born and raised in Decatur, AL. Both parents went to LSU though and Im at LSU now. My friends from home have not stopped blowing my phone up since the game. I couldn't stand to see them after the game in NOLA. At least I'm getting it over a phone, sorry youre dealing with it in person

Without a doubt

Nevermind they were lucky to be there. Nevermind LSU beat them the last 2 outta 3. Never mind the rematch.

Just congrats them on their Mulligan Bowl win and move on.

The whole college football world is laughing at us, LSU, JJ and Miles.

And why wouldn't they? Miles embarrassed the hell out of himself and LSU with that game. Only LSU fans beg to differ on this point.

Just tell them you are now living for the Saints. Then ask them how their pro team is doing.

Doesn't work. They're all Saints fans. A few Titans fans up north.

Oh trust me, I'm usually first to move on in anything but it's hard to avoid these creatures. These Bammers are soaking up every bit of their party crasher role and taking it to pathetic levels.

"Hey Jeff! You heard the team buses couldn't get out of New Orleans right? Yeah, someone painted the 50 yard line in front of them and they just didn't know how to cross it!"

Wait, wait... here's my favorite facebook comment I have gotten so far:

You got OWNED son!!!! ROLL TIDE!!!!! Less is NOT more!!! Ohh yea lose that shirt!

Poor SOB couldn't even get the pun right...

In central Alabama (not Tuscaloosa, but not far), it's the same. It wasn't a contest on offense and the deer in the headlights look all night with Jefferson is, in fact, laughable. And there's no defense to that. I just keep saying "Hey guys, we're even now. Wanna play again?" They say no, of course. Or "Yea, in Tuscaloosa." Some have the Alabama arrogance and some are vitriolic about it. But I haven't found a mean friend yet. It's mostly on social media where they stretch out and act like they're superior. And all they post is "14!" - though I can only count 11. The headline in sports pages - "21-Zereaux!".

The few bama fans I am friends with all ask the same question - "What happened?" They are as surprised at our performance as we are. They thought our defense was great. But make no mistake - Alabama was determined to win. They were as confident and sure of themselves as any football team could be - and LSU was most definitely NOT determined. Nor were we prepared to play hard. Miles said it - he didn't know what to do.

It'll pass after while and I'll be back to golfing with 'em again. But this stings - and there's still no explanation that I've seen from Miles about why Lee didn't at least try. Even the bama folks ask why in the world did Lee not play?
I have no answer.

Yeah guys, Mobile is Saints country. FLASHBACK! All I heard in '09 was "BAMA and Saints winning their Championships?! The gods must shine upon our race! This can be the only truth!"

I am having to live right outside of Birmingham for the next couple of weeks while receiving medical treatment at UAB. The people I am staying with are all Alabama fans. I know exactly how you feel. If I am not getting the loss rubbed in my face with the people I am staying with I have to hear about on the local news. I am so ready to get back to Louisiana. Unfortunately even after I get back I will still have to hear about it since I married an Alabama fan.

I drove through the entire state of Alabama yesterday on my way home to Nashville. The traffic was terrible and every single car had 4 bama flags and bama bumperstickers/houndstooth.

I was hungover, it was raining, and I wanted to kill a motherfricker.
