never had a good offense even in the regular season. Forcing turnovers and special team were bailing out the offense and last night both of those 2 were absent, i.e. no Honey Badger factor, no turnovers, no punt return. I really thought LSU is going to be the team that come out aggressively and throws on first down and most of the game because Bama was expecting running attack. For some reason Coach Miles became extremely conservative and froze the entire game.

Why the frick do people forget that we did have a passing game earlier this year. Lee did have 14 TD passes.

In all those games we had turnovers and special team scored points, it changes the dynamics of the game. BTW, Lee was a starter until he lost it.

Only when he was protected by a successful running game. As soon as Bama took that away on 11/5 he fell into the fetal position.

Some of this I buy but a little differently

There were times we had one but we never had one remotely consistently for sure

I am referring to big games only.

Actually, that is not true. While Lee was playing the bulk of the snaps with JJ as a change of pace, the offense was balanced; number two rushing attack in the SEC, and #1 passing efficiency attack for most of the season. None of that kind of offense was to be found last night.

I think that Miles did a great job until the NC. He deserved to be everyone's coach of the year...BUT...
The truth is:
1) Miles was out-prepared. They didn't add a single thing offensively with the time off...the same tired reruns that Bama worked to kill.
2) Miles was out-coached. Even when every LSU fan in the stadium (& in the world watching) knew that JJ couldn't pull it off - Miles stubbornly refused to make a change (any change) at QB
3) Miles let his players down - he put them on the field without proper preparation & let them sink without an effort to save them

I clearly remember Lee leading us to two 1st downs, in the 1st series alone.
