I don't understand that at all. Most of the time the plays were runs right up the middle.

At some point did the coaches say "Look....stop it."

The only time our qb gets to check out of plays are in predetermained situations that has been practiced over and gone over in team meetings.

Now some of what you're calling checking out could be/probably was changing the protection, identifying the blutzers.

Ahh so the OL sucking could have been his fault as well.

I just wish the coaches would have told him to throw the ball no matter what. Who cares if the entire defense is blanketed over the reciever THROW THE BALL.

It's just his mentality.

He wanted to be the hero. He wanted to make the plays himself rather than give up the ball.

His selfish nature is one the qualities that kept him from ever becoming a leader. He put himself above the rest of the team. Cam Newton did the same at Auburn last year; the difference is that he backed it up.

Jefferson coming back from suspension was the worst thing that could've happened to this team. As soon as Miles reinstated him as the starter, he saw that no matter how badly he sucked, Miles wouldn't pull him.
