Would the experts be picking us because of the hard to beat a team twice factor I keep hearing about.

We would be playing but, we would not be picked to win. Which we are not now so who cares?

we wouldnt be playing... even though our schedule was harder than bama's and we would have lost on the road...

reasons like that are why i dont like bama. they are such a media-darling and espn feeds their already unbearable sense of entitlement

Seriously?

Today is the day, why are you talking about if we had lost on 11/5. That is stupid, think about tonight man. Nothing else matters

I call bullshite on the we wouldn't be playing stuff.

No way we're not playing if things are the same. We'd be ranked higher in the computers and the voters would have respected us more than Bama.

No doubt.

The Jackson Clarion Ledger had a side by side comparison today. (they hate LSU, by the way) It was from the AP.
It was crowned by a comment that Saban has had over 4 weeks to prepare.
WTF do they think we've been doing? I have heard this over and over, but I have only seen 1 person, Pollack, mention that LSU has had extra time to prepare too. It is absurd.

You dont fully understand the bama PR machine do you?

Had we have lost this would havebeen a Bama vs. OSU game.

You don't fully understand how the BCS works & the strength of our computer ranking.

I guess beating the "ESPN hates us"/"we get no respect" drum is the cool thing to do around here, but it's completely lunacy to think we wouldn't be playing today had bama won 11/5.

I believe that the game would still be the same teams playing but the rankings would be swapped.

LSU would have gotten the same press. We did in 07.

Too Bad we will never really know because we did actually win.

However the above comment by an LSU fan is a great example of the bama PR machine at work.

Even some of the LSU fans bought the "Best Loss Argument".

WTF is a best loss How about the rest of the resume? No matter Regardless of 2nites outcome I'll always believe 2 things.
Bama had no business being there
And The BCS is garbage. (I'll take playoffs thanks)

We would get there because of our wins, not our losses. Though the loss would probably come in to it.

I think if we had lost we would have dropped to 5th, making it speculative at best that we would have had a rematch.
But we WON, so fug it!
