and decrease his ability to recruit as well?

Seems like some of these recruits are buying the myth and want to be coached by the best. 3 losses in a little over a year to CLM would have to tarnish that image.

Just keep winning and it doesn't matter. If we win tomorrow and next season, it'll be really tough for anyone to say Saban > Miles.

I think the win will definitely help but at the same time, until the press starts to give CM more credit and stop sending NS all the praise it will prob have little effect.

Saban is one helluva closer, and always pulls in top talent late in the recruiting game. Nothing will change this.

Unfortunately, improving LSU and Miles's own reputation will do nothing to diminish Bama and Saban's........however, it doesn't need to.

We're beating Bama now and can continue to.

We should worry about making LSU the best we can be. If we keep succeeding, we will get the good recruits and beat out Bama for some....as we have previously.

ETA: I can't believe there is a FREAKING BAMA ad at the bottom of this page. That is BLASPHEMY!!!!

Probably not. The NFL draft and media perception on Saban is more than enough.
