Deal was reached and French group bought the assets remaining for $80 million. French group pays back non US players, Dept of Justice will pay back US players. No word on when payments will be made yet.

thanks!
when you say DOJ will pay back US players, does that just mean it is their decision to pay them or is there some type of obligation to pay the players as a result of the deal reached? you might not know this, but i'm curious enough to ask. tia.

According to CNNMoney.com, the United States Department of Justice is close to finalizing a deal with Group Bernard Tapie which would involve GBT paying $80 million for the assets of the company. GBT will be responsible for the repayment of former Full Tilt players outside of the United States while the Department of Justice will be responsible for accepting applications for the repayment of players in the United States.
