Personally, looking forward I think corner is a position of greater need anyway. With LC going to bama, LSU needs Howard. Hopefully les can sweep him up.

Well I think with LC being the best player in LA makes him the bigger priority, but Howard looks like a shut down. We're really gonna miss Mo. Need a legit corner

Definitely, but performance wise it is easier to find a dominant safety than it is a dominant corner.

How do you think that defensive backfield got so deep? Recruiting solid talent that fits our scheme. You lose Claiborne, b Taylor and brooks this year. Those 3 gone, it's not as deep as you think. We "need" lots of players. LSU will go on fine without some of them but make no mistake we need legit players every single year. Thats why theyre practicing in NOLA this week, because the staff recruits those guys well every single year.

As long as Ron Cooper doesn't leave, I think we will get him., Mario Edwards is going to be a lot harder to get but I think we can pull him out.

Collins is a fine players but lsu won't miss 1 single beat by not getting him. We have great young players on the roster now, great players committed, and the best DB coach in America.
And yes I did say this before he chose Alabama
