They both played games with LSU (leading up to their commitment announcement, from what I can tell...I'm waiting to see if LC actually told LSU's coaches he was committing). I don't think LC will turn out like JJ...i.e., being the 'getaway' driver in a prius during a robbery in which everyone doing the robbing was wearing official school gear. I think LC will have a fine career at Bama. Just MOO and all. But on the face of it, certain things about their announcement seem to be similar.
