This was a combination of the family buying some LA love for their son's decision to go where he felt most comfortable.... and ESPN getting some great TV drama for the Entertainment network...

Best to move past the battle and win the war....

Yea, I don't think that is true at all. His family genuinely didn't like the decision. Nobody was happy and his dad wasn't even there for the decision...

Was it just me or does Landon's voice sound just liike Mike Tyson. Does he speak with a lisp. Just curious since i never heard the kid speak before.
Sound like his decision was made long ago. Wonder why you would keep it such a secret if you knew for months you were going to go to Bama. Oh well guess i am way to old to understand 18 year olds thinking.

So his dad is pro-Bama but he decides to not even watch his son commit to the school he wants him to go to.

Do you really believe this?

First of all, if the family doesn't accept the kid back because they disagreed with his choice of colleges, than the family is way more in the wrong than the kid.

Secondly, if your implication is that the kid lost his home in the sense that he will never have a place in Louisiana again, that is even more silly. If you're a business owner and LC shows up one day for an interview, would you really not give him a job if he's the best candidate simply because he went to Bama? That's ridiculous, and I weep for the future economy of LA if others make decisions on hiring for such petty reasons.
