Alabama's Marquis Maze: "We beat ourselves. LSU didn't do anything to beat us. We made mental mistakes." #LSU, #Bama, #BCS

Delusional gump is delusional.

Do imaginary TV wires count as mental mistakes?

And the LSU players, minus Blackwell, have remained awfully quiet. Monday is going to be a bloodbath.

What a smug, arrogant pole-smoker.

I pray that the LSU team is aware of the steady stream of dismissive comments issuing from the Alabama camp.

Yeah, that's right. Eric Reid didn't really snatch the ball away from the receiver. The Bama guy whispered in his ear-hole in mid-flight - "pssst...here, you take this..."

The Bama FG wasn't really blocked, the wind took it into the LSU defender's hand.

McCarron wasn't really sacked in OT, he just felt like he needed a hug.....

I still don't understand how HITTING a wire would make the ball go further and higher. Seems like the ball would slow down and fall right after

I feel more and more confident after seeing more about alabama's mentality for this game.

The tide is about to roll into a buzz saw.

For a player who was involved in two of LSUs biggest plays he sure doesn't know when to shut the hell up

That he felt conference champions should be in the game. Like our team believes that you needed to be the conference champion to get this shot. I believe it was within the context of the goals for the team for the year.

That is Saban-speak...the Bama players are Sabanbots. Listen to Saban speak about "the process". In the process, you don't lose...you just don't do the necessary things to win. If you beat yourself, or have that perception, that means you are capable of always winning and never losing. It is the mindset he drills home with all players.

Hahaha true, but there are different ways to say it. I was commenting to my friend at lunch I was surprised with all the Jones and Maze talk, LSU players have remained fairly quiet.

The media snipped one sentence out of a long reply he made when asked about the game which amount to something like "Alabama may not have deserved to be here as much as other teams may have, but they lost." But it was taken out of context. He also said something about the SEC having 2 teams and that he's looking forward to a rematch..

You would think that Nick Saban would have put a gag order out to his players by now. They have consistently refused to give LSU any credit for the outcome of the game on Nov 5. The more they talk the better I feel about LSU's mind set going into this game.

Well, they did score more points, Marquis.
