Came to the edge of my field right at dark. Had to scope him to see him standing there. He stood frozen for about five minutes....absolutely motionless. Couldn't tell if he had horns until I blew the grunt call a couple of times before he finally stepped out in the field. He came within about 25 yds. of my stand before I shot him straight on in the chest. Wouldn't turn broadside so I had to shoot him before he got any closer. I didn't see any old injuries that may of caused his rack to be messed up like that. Genetics maybe? Either way I was glad to get him. Weighed in at 232 lbs. Pic is big....sorry, don't know how to resize from phone.

Where did you kill him? I saw you were friends with Terral in the other thread. I am friends with all 3 of them.

I killed him in little missouri. About 200 yds. from bouef river. You been doing any hunting with Terral? Pecker head was supposed to call me back the other day...still waiting. He goose hunts with us sometimes. Been duck hunting with him a few times. He was saying his duck season was shitty so far. That was the same day me and two other guys shot a limit of mallards!

I shot a deer several years back that was similiar to this one and it had no visible wounds. When we opened him up to skin him he had the nastiest looking shite you ever seen in your life comeout from the rearend.
