I've never seen anything like them before, but maybe they're reissued tickets or road return tickets?

My friend got them off of StubHub. Is there any way to verify their authenticity?

They're legit. I requested some extras from the ticket office & that's what they look like.

Season ticket holder here. I split a few seats with some friends. Went to both playoff games in '09. Havent seen my playoff tix yet, but they usually look really big and cool. Not little like these. Dont want to say definitely yes, and usually stub hub is pretty good about watching for counterfeiting.

That said, is it seat 5 and 6, or 4 and 5?

Yeah just noticed that. Row 32? Ouch. Glad those aren't my seats.

Absolutely fake. I have two that look nothing like this and mine are from the ticket office of the Saints.

I'll second what you said about what playoff tickets look like.

That said, those look suspect.

if you want to find out if they are fake or real go to ticketexhange and try and sell them. it will ask for the barcode # and tell you if it is valid.

id bet they are real. probably some of the extra tickets that were offered to ticketholders.

If thats what extra look like, or replacements look like. I'd be wary that someone with actual season tickets sold you extra tickets and plans to get to the Dome super early with their originals so yours dont scan. Just a guess.

I'm not a criminal master mind but that plan seems to be serioulsy flawed from the perspective of the perp.

I've got season tickets and I've got my playoff tickets. Neither looks like yours.

But my bud bought some last week as we were walking into the dome. Yours look exactly like his. I told him not to buy them, but they scanned and worked.

they are legit. These are just unclaimed or unpaid seats by season ticket holders that the ticket office mails out after the fact.

For the home opener last year I got some tickets from a guy that worked for the Vikings. They give away teams cheaper looking tickets like that. The ones I got for that game last year looked similar to that except they had a lombardi trophy on them. They could definitely be legit.

Like that one guy said try putting them on the ticket exchange and see if they except the barcode or whatever.

Make sure you don't sell them by accident if you do this!

If you bought them from a season ticket holder, they probably don't look the same as theirs does.
I know mine for 09 was about twice the height and was all gold. Im sure they will look somewhat spiffy since they're for the playoffs.
When you sell them on stub hub or ticket master you don't send them the original, the site just gives them another ticket. So that might be what that is
