they're as much Herb highlights as they are Abram's. might be a couple passes from J. Booty in there, but mostly Herb to Abram.

some here may not realize or recall the success, albeit short-lived, under Dinardeaux.

Those teams with players like Northern, Faulk, Mealey, Abram, Nicky Savoie, and Tyler were hard nosed.

Yep, people forget that we had good teams before Saban got here. Herb and Faulk helped us beat Florida. But for a last minute Dinardo brainfart vs Auburn, we would have been in the SEC championship game in 97. That was a good team.

One of my all time favorites. He grew up in my neighborhood. Been a great guy since he was a kid tossing us passes in the street in Algiers.

Herb Tyler is very well spoken. I don't recall ever hearing him speak in interviews or whatever.

my cousin is a boat captain for barges on the river and sees herb a lot. Nothing but great things to say abt him. Herb tyler and dalton hillaird are two of my favorites ever. My first favorite as a child was THE charles alexander. i had plenty of old white t-shirts with #4 drawn in with a sharpie when playing sandlot football as a kid. Jerseys werent 'in' yet.....or we were to poor to get them.

no way that was correct. i don't feel like researching, but

1995-he went undefeated the games he started.
1996-lost 2 games
1997-we lost like 3 games (the year we lost to ND at home)
1998-lsu went like 4-7, unless he got hurt that I don't remember and get credit for the losses.

Herb dude was money. Any QB from the pass 20 years besides Marcus Randall would have been an upgrade for this team and that includes Hatch.
