Game Day Watch Spots in or near French Quarter

Walk down the street, pick a bar, go in.

I was in the quarter the last couple days for MNF and scouted out places to watch the BCS title game. We were looking for reserved seating- guaranteed seats/bathrooms. Afraid the bars will be jammed up and a cluster trying to get cocktails and have a good view of game. Bourbon view had $100 tickts open bar and food included, 250 seats total... But a company bought up the last 160 spots minutes before I stopped in. The Old Absinthe House had openings still. We booked at the Sheraton Hotel BCS bash ($45 for food and seats and bathrooms). Cash bar.

I watched the 2003 game at the Fairmont. Think it may called Marquette now (hotel with all the Chrisrmas lights). It was nice had a great view.

Lucy's retired surfer bar! Was told they will be having a block party...the game will be on an HD projector on the building next door. Did a Saints game, great time!
