cold and raining

Kickoff at 4 pm. TV on espn 2. I expect a lot of seats will be empty if this rain continues.

I agree.
But, it's the only bowl game on TV today so I'll watch.
Gotta see Missouri win as they come into the SEC.

Is either teams offense pass heavy. Need opinions on how the weather will effect Mizzou's ability to cover

The rain is just an all day light drizzle. It shouldn't effect the passing game as much as it will effect the attendance. Not the kind of day to sit in the stands for 3 hours.
Mizzou should cover the 5. A cop friend has been assigned to escourting the teams to different events this week. He said Mizzou seems more up for the game than UNC.

Come on, Zach, as a Shreveporter you must know that it's always cold and shitty for the I Bowl. It could be 75 at St Vincents but snowing in the damn stadium

I got four tickets but sitting at the house seems more appealing.

Hey, my brother went to the snow bowl, AM v. Missy State. He got so cold he picked up some empty cardboard popcorn boxes and shoved them between his shirt and his jacket for added insulation.

I, meanwhile, enjoyed the game in the comfort of my living room with a roaring fire and a cold adult beverage.

does the mayor have any of his assistants on standby in case any young co-eds need a ride downtown to get their boyfriends out of jail?

This is the Independence Bowl Foundation's Facebook post from the 20th. Oops....

Just checked the gameday forecast and it is looking good! Mid 50s, sunny skies and no chance of rain! Just a nice, cool, clear day made for great football ... Countdown to the 2011 I-Bowl is on- just 6 days away! I Bowl, do you?

Kinda reminds me of the weathermen in BR predicting 100% chance of rain yesterday from 11am-2pm...and me not seeing a SINGLE DROP during that time. Anyone that puts any stock in a 6 day forecast for weather is foolish. Those bastards don't know what it is going to do tomorrow most of the time, let alone a week from now.
