Is there any place in downtown br to buy French bread?

I can't think of any. The closest place I can think of and the most convenient to get to from downtown to get French bread at this time of the morning would be Walmart on LA 1 just south of I-10.

Capital Grocery at 7th and Spanish Town Road. Not sure what time they open.

Calandro's is 2 miles down government from the river.

Thanks tied up in br for the weekend on the tugboat. Making BBQ shrimp for the crew French bread is a must.
