The season needs to be pushed back. It's 70 degrees and the deer haven't even thought about rutting yet where I'm at.

Are you seeing deer right now? At my place in Monticello, there are signs everywhere and fresh buck scrapes every 20 feet or so, but we haven't seen them since Sunday. I had 4 other hunters with me from saturday to Tuesday and all had the same results.
We are south of town along the river behind Bethel Baptist Church.

There's a lot of movement in the woods. I figure at best I could give them something to be curious about.

We havent seen any bucks all does ( found on food plots). The deer went nocturnal and all the bucks we have seen on camera are during the night. I don't think I can make as many scrapes and rubs we have here; sign is everywhere. The rut is about to start but give it two weeks. I have been here since last Thursday and haven't seen a buck.
Our property is north of the river right outside of downtown on 184. We r off of Arm Rd. We have been changing up tactics but no success. We are still trying to figure it out. We been here for 26 yrs.Try mid day hunts. We have seen a lot of does during mid day hunts.

Killed a big ole slickhead yesterday evening. At the house with wife and kids today.
