I may have to pull for San Diego State after seeing this...
Their mascot is the jolly red cayenne pepper. Really, WTF, can they at least take the Louisiana off the jersey.

and i promise if you ask a fan who would win LSU or ULL, they say ULL has a legit shot. Also, they like to be referred as university of louisiana, no lafayette at the end.

I live in Lafayette and I cannot stand those who pull against LSU! With that being said I have to pull for the Cajuns despite there mascot. I feel if you live Louisiana you should pull for any school in the state period!!!!!!

Only because i saw a flash of it on ESPN, i knew the band had peppers on their shirt, but my worse fear was realized when I googled ULL pepper mascot.

So let me get this right, any team that plays LSU should come into the game with no hope of winning. And if their team DOES come in with some sliver of hope, we must HATE them. There's no way a team should believe they can win against the mighty tigers. I get it now.

I'm treating this game like an SEC bowl game...if they win good..represent the state well. If they lose...I will have fun laughing at the melt down of my ULL friends.
