Watching that game last night at a restaurant and a Sam Houston fan held up a sign that said "Bring on LSU". Had to laugh.

Were you at the LSU Bama game this year? Was rewatching the game (4th time) and noticed a guy in the crowd at the roughly 2:46 mark in the second quarter that has a striking resemblance to your avatar pic. Just wondering.

I actually saw it too and took it as a compliment to our great program knowing without a doubt who the best team is and that's LSU. IMO just like some of our Tiger fans saying bring on Green Bay. YOu know who the best is and you call them out.

Yeah because there aren't a ton of FCS players in the NFL. I despise broad, ignorant statements like this
I've watched Tim Flanders (RB for SHSU) in person and the couple times on tv now. Kid is the real deal. Quickest feet I've seen all year, and that includes I-A schools.
Willie Fritz isn't going to be at SHSU very much longer. Guy is a helluva coach.

My daughter goes to SHSU. We are going to the FCS Championship game on Jan 7th. Ought to be a blast.

If McNeese could ever find a defense, I wish I could say the same. I went to the NCG in '02 in Chatanooga. It was a blast. Frisco looks to have a better setup and I'm sure it'd be a better experience than Chatanooga.

It shows or signifies LSU's status as one of the elite programs in the country, my how this is a nice time for our program, we are looked at as how a USC is looked at now!!

Yea, especially referencing this SHSU team. They have a ton of speed. It's not a stretch to say they would be a decent mid-major in FBS this year.
