Just read an article about our running backs and the balance we have. So it got my brain running with ideas. In no way am I saying that I should be making decisions for our beloved Tigers, but I will probably use this offense on NCAA Football 2012.
The "T" formation-this gets most of our backs on the field at once. I was thinking short yardage, Two tight ends, Hilliard (fb), Ford (tb), & Ware (tb). It would be fun to see.
This is why I sit at home and cheer the Tigers and not getting paid but Im bored at work so this is what I do.

I think he's thinking more of a straight T, but u could use different variations such as wing T straight T or flex bone or wish bone, OLD school formations right there..

I think I'd still put in copeland or Stampley for FB. They crush linebackers

Michigan state runs this formation on NCAA 12. It's called the "Maryland I" in their playbook. And it's ridiculously hard to stop. Just too many blockers

Been talking about this as well with a lot of friends and mentioned that on a post before. Maryland I with Copeland (280lbs), Stampey (239lbs), and Hilliard (240lbs) all in the backfield at one time. If a little bit more speed is needed for the outside then Stampey, Hilliard, and Ford as HB. I think that would cause a LOT of problems for damn near anyone to stop with up to 750lbs total bursting through the line!!! I would love to see it.

love it. Not to mention Jefferson ability if we wanted to run the triple option and our TE's are not bad WR's. And we have one hell of a deep threat in RR2
