Yep...continuity means a great deal...
He has shown what he can do with talent...Auburn has talent they are just very young...

not sure there is anything left out there for him to take...unless he jumps into the penn state candidate pool out of the blue.

imo, given that chiz and his staff have shown they can recruit well even though they have to deal with saban in state, i think auburn should switch its gears. You'll be more competitive on an annual basis if you build your team to play strong defense and run a ball control offense. You put entirely too much strain on your defense under a malzahn type of offense, and when you cant score points, your gonna lose a lot of games.

For realz? Take $cam out of 2010 and that team has at least 3 losses. Answer this question. How long B4 AU wins more than 8 games again with Gus & Chiz? They are 3 plays from being 4-8 this season.
