During the week or so after the LSU/Ar-Kansas game I was traveling and could not really keep up with LSU via TD or other sites as often as I do when I'm home.

Did Bobby Petrino ever get reprimanded by the SEC for mouthing "F you MF'r" to Les? Did he even apologize to Les or the Tigers? SIAP, I just havent heard anything about that.

I also wonder if anyone at CBS got a hand slap for showing it up close & in slo-motion. I noticed during the SEC Express replay that they cut that part out altogether.

Anybody know?

I think all he did was say that he was sorry that the cameras were pointed at him and he'll have to be more careful when calls someone a motherfricker in the future.

People should never apologize for saying how they feel. If that was Petrino's true feelings at the time then he's free to express himself in any manner that doesn't cause physical harm to another individual.

Talk about a story getting reversed and all screwed up on the internet. The REAL story here is how SMART of a coach he is. He knew once LSU got up by more than 4 points that the game was over. Common courtesy would be for LSU to take a knee once we score our first touch down. He let the second td go but after that it built up inside of him as it should have. He is just too smart.

Les seemed to take it in stride. If he doesn't care, we probably don't need to either.

I totally disagree, if by which what they said was out a moment of frustration, anger, rage, etc.. That wasn't necessarily how he would have handled that in a social setting without 95,000 fans screaming. Not to mention your getting pounded below the dirt like your some sort of nuclear waste.

If he feels that what he said was innappropriate based on his feelings at the time, then he should apologize. If not, well then you know he isn't going to comment. Either way we in tiger nation do not give a shite either way as he was probably called a motherfricker atleast a bazillion times that day during tailgating.

When you act like a freaking jerk on national TV cause things are not going your way and when you represent a state/school, you dang well need to man up and admit wrong time/place to express your feelings. imo

I do not think that Petty Petrino will ever apologize for the mouthing incident or the after game fiasco. Whatever he said to Miles post game must have been pretty ripe judging from Les' reaction...

He didn't do himself any favors nor did CBS win a Pulitzer that day. I'd love for CBP to be mic'd up for a big game. We've gotten some pretty shady calls go against us the last 2 years and Petrino rips the refs, we love him for it.

The thing that started swaying the fans into getting behind Nolan Richardson was the emotion that he showed during the games, and he was scary intimidating when he got hot on the sidelines. He wasn't taking crap from anybody, which is where him and Broyles got sideways.

I didn't like the way the post game shake went down, but Lester shouldn't have tried to say shite, just shake and go on about your celebrating. Nobody likes to be patronized and that's what LM was trying to do. BP ain't having none of that, and I wouldn't want a coach that would smile and take it. F that.

that's very classless of you to say. i think that everyone's forgetting the fact that their star TE died prior to the LSU/Arky game, so of course tensions were on the rise the whole game up to/at the point where he screamed F U MF'er. now in BP's defense what was on the field was true spirit. On both sides. Les was being Les and don't think for one minute he didn't consider the feelings and emotions of the Arky team.

Petrino's comments were actually directed to TM7—he was complimenting the kid on his TD punt return.
