Lagging PS3 controller

I bought a PS3 controller off of amazon a few months ago and it sucks. It lags a good 1-2 seconds wirelessly and a slight lag when hooked up through USB. It's been over a month so amazon won't refund/replace.
Anyone had similar problems? Is there any way to fix it?

I doubt it is 1-2secs.
1-2secs would be unplayable.

Yes it is 1-2 seconds. And yes it is absolutely unplayable.
It wasn't as bad when I first got it but now it's terrible.

Happened to me a few times. I plugged it in and charged it fully. Worked like a charm.

Is this Sony or aftermarket?

It's supposed to be Sony. The company I bought it through on amazon is BBB accredited so I assume it's not a fake
