Why would he not be able to play against SF if he played in the second half after the injury?

Because he has ten days off? Makes about as much sense.

thread: Big Ben excellent play could end up helping the Saints.

Anybody know what Brees' record is playing the cold weather? It will be freezing in Jan at SF. Well actually SF is fricking cold throughout the year.

You hear these stats about Farve and Brady having won 28 of 30 or 35 of 38 games when the temp at kick-off is below 30 degrees or some shite like that. Wonder what Brees' record in such weather is?

Have you ever been to california? It's never "really fricking cold"

as bad as it might be, like the other guy said he played at purdue.. don't worry about it.

I don't think so. They play football that wins in the playoffs. Run the ball, stop the run, limit mistakes. I would MUCH rather play them in the Dome with 2 weeks rest.

That can work but definitely is not the trend of the where the NFL is going. Saints, Packers, Colts, & Patriots are prolly the most desired models of success nowadays. Shoot first, grind later when you have a lockdown lead.

It'd be real nice to get that 2 seed and a bye (the weekend that the Tigers will be in the Superdome the following monday, to boot).

if the saints had to travel to play anywhere outside for the playoffs.. i will gladly take san fran.

plus we own that team of late any ways.. but i still hope they lose 2 games and we get more home field.

Does it really matter? Even if we win out, all three of our loses are against NFC teams. San Fran has only lost to one NFC team and losing to Pitt wouldn't change that. Correct me if I'm wrong but in the case of a tie isn't conference record the tiebreaker?
