November 5th Lsu wins 9-6
offense-Lsu and alabama both seemed to have a similar offense production except LSU did better within opponents on side of field.

defense-both defenses played great but LSU held the edge with forcing bama to kick longer distance field goals then what we were forced to kick..in return, they missed theirs.

special teams-hands down LSU played better, score board showed it.not even questionable

coaching-Miles showed he is now superior to Saban for the simple fact he forced saban to come out of his norm and make calls that even Lou Holtz didnt do as a coach and we all know how that goes.

since november 5th which team has progressed and improved the most ???

both offenses have improved, i wouldnt say by a wide margin but both have shown an improvement but still have stuck to the same gameplan as before.
except LSU has now discoved hilliard is a man amongst boys and he is better than he was in the first game.lsu depth will be the big factor in round 2 becasue we now have 4 backs who really are superior to bamas depth at the running back position. shut trent down and you have shut bama down by 75%

defense-id have to say Lsu has also improved here more than what bama did. many may think differently because in lsu' last two games we went down, but i think that only has improved us because now we know lsu does and will not lay down when down by a margin...they only thrive off of it and come back stronger!!

special teams- bamas special teams has not really gotten any better. they havent been using mr blow it as much and have gone to the second stringer, who has been doing a decent job.
their retrun game has been decent as well.

now lsu special teams has gotten tremendously better!! Tyrann has shown teams that they better make punt team a big thing to pay attention to.
punting has gotten increasingly better and i can promise you that wing will not have a shank like he did with his first punt vs bama in the first game. and alleman has also been spectactular!!

so overall,i must say LSU has only gotten better since november 5th. and the fact that we are now playing in LA will only benefit LSU !!!!

I think were better in a sense that after the last two games they have fought through adversity and came back strong in both games

Yeah, LSU has definitely found their punt returner.

Anyone see Ivan Maisel's column before the Arkansas game talking about how the Hogs had the advantage in the return game? Ha.

Looking at the UGA game you guys went backwards. How many yards did you get against the mighty dogs defense in the first half? 8? No first downs? How many yards did JJ pass for last game? 30?

I'd say you went backwards. Our defense is a lot better than UGA's. You go one dimensional on us and you might not get 50 yards total offense the whole game on us. And don't expect any punt returns. Our punter sucks but its 39 yards with hang time. He's going to be fair catching it if we punt at all.

This Gump speaks as if we habent already beaten Bama. Guess what? Our defense is a lot better than that of the Auburn team you were only leading by 13 in the 4th quarter. Oh yeah, and 21 to a div ii school =

Make no mistake about it. It will take our best effort up to this point to beat Bama again. They will come in prepared. We will need to start strong and finish stronger to complete the dream season!

Wow! Was Bammer really the first FBS team to beat six top 25 opponents?

Then I guess the 2011 LSU Tigers must surely be the first team to beat eight...

Typical gump living on the past. Hey maybe the 2009 team will come back and play this game for you!?
