LSU said they got 17,000

Leaves about 36 - 40 thousand after 2 schools get their allotments.

I would anticipate that at least half of those tickets hit the street due to high ticket costs - maybe more.

It depends on which fan base forks out the cash for the tickets that hit the street. I hope LSU fans scoop them all up.

Do not rely on the local crowd as in the past 2 games. AL has plenty of crossover, even on the Northshore, unlike OK and Ohio State did in the 2 prior games.

It could be 60/40 LSU but I would not be shocked if it got closer to 50/50.

bama is prob the only team that has a chance to outnumber us. just think, parts of alabama are closer to nola than people living in north LA.

Mobile is a 2 - 2.5 hour drive - same as Lafayette

LSU fans are delusional if this just think we have "home field" advantage just because the game is in New Orleans.

I know people than I care to think abt that sent their kids to college at AL instead of LSU and more adults that are AL fans than I want to deal with over the next month.

This. LSU will not have any semblance of a home field advantage in this game.
