Best in at least 12 years. Maybe the best ever?

they needed only 2 punt returns for 0 yards, LSU got 4 returns for 0 yards and ended up first in the nation

I wanted that #1 ranking, since Brad Wing deserved it.

He turned the game around yesterday with that 60+ yard punt with no return back to the 13 yard line. They went 3 and out and next thing you know, honey badger gets us 7. Game on.

If Mathieu had 1 more return yard he'd be ranked #1 punt returner.

Adams: 16 returns for 259 yards, 16.1875 avg
Mathieu: 26 returns for 420 yards, 16.1538 ypg (26 for 421 yards would be 16.1923 ypg)

I know it doesn't show up like this, but on one of the punts, the returner muffed it at the 20, and recovered at the 13.

-1 on the year?

Next to Mathieu, Brad Wing is LSU's 2nd most valuable player. I think, without such a talented punter, LSU might have a loss or two.
