I always love the polls that break these things out by state . The results are always beyond predictable.

before everyone is thinking there is just hate on Bama notice that TR is getting a majority of the votes for Heisman.

Think the poll shows that America really doesn't want to see a rematch, regardless if Bama is the second best.

The best part of that poll is LSU is in.

No doubt who the 1 is.

I honestly believe it isn't so much about not wanting to see a re-match. After last nights bedlam, all non-gumps think OSU actually DESERVES the spot more than bama. I agree.

Ok State lost in OT to Iowa State. I did look at the schedules and see that Ok St played Iowa St 6 days after beating Tex Tech 66-6. Iowa St had the week off to rest and prepare and the game was at Iowa St. Iowa St didn't even have to travel.

Everyone who pays attention to football knows how much better a team plays after the off week.

Awesome. 81% wants OSU.
And funny that 56% give lsu the nod over OSU, and 75% give lsu the win over bama in the rematch.
I guess, been there, done that!

I'm surprised ESPN hasn't manipulated this poll to show Bama leading the way.

The entire nation (minus the state of Alabama) wants OSU over Bama. I would guess the average pollster has about the same opinion as the average sports fan.

LSU vs OSU is going to happen.

Sagarin (garbage, I know) has Iowa State at #29 in his final poll. Not too shabby.

You have to win it on the field, not in public opinion or eye test...

Very telling poll. Also, ironic: It's the very same ESPN machine that will probably push Bama into the NCG. No justice.

Considering that Houston lost yesterday, that means there isn't even room for outliers.

Okie St is in. The ratings for LSU/ Okie St will exceed the ratings for a rematch across the nation. The ratings are all that matter in this case.
