Mw3 Killstreak Glitch

Was playing TDM and had a sentry out.
Got another 5-killstreak and threw the care package right as a sentry got a kill and gave me a precision airstrike, but gave me a sentry instead
Any way this could be exploited? I fear the MW2 care package glitch days

Well yeah in private matches and stuff.
I admit i did use it a couple times, got some AC130's
Eventually the ERRRRRRR every twenty seconds and brit's saying "Enemy Package on the way" got old
