Alabama wouldn't go to Fiesta, they'll go Sugar if OkSt goes to Title game.

Fiesta picks before the sugar and since bama isn't the sec champ has no obligation to be in the sugar bowl.

Right before they posted projected bowl pics, writer mentioned that if Bama is a no for BCS Champ Game then fans would not want to come to NOLA and also what happened last time they came-see Utah/Sugar result. Said they would fit better this year for Fiesta and also previous post correct-not locked into Sugar b/c not the champ.

Negative, the Sugar Bowl lost the #1 team, they get the 1st pick, but can't be a team from the same conference as the #2 team. The reason why LSU didn't go to the Rose in '06.
BTW Ted Lewis is a clueless most of the time. He was the one that reported the SEC voted Mizzou down. I wouldn't put any stock into anything he reports.
