The Knicks' assets are pretty much limited to Billups' expiring deal, a few misfit toys, and either Melo or Amare.

I could see the Hornets intentionally tanking the season and then letting Paul walk rather than eating a shite deal just for him, ESPECIALLY if the league still owns the team.
