Had some people argue on who's the better player? Honey badger or Morris Claiborne? Not on who you think will be the better NFL prospect. The better overall player in college and why. I say Mathieu because he makes the bigger impact on the field. Both unreal talents but TM7 will go down as one of the best to ever put on a LSU uniform.

Mo at this point, without a doubt.

Mo is physically more valuable to this team IMO. I do think that the team feeds off of TM7 and that he is a true leader.

Mo

Honey badger is great at stripping the ball. Mo is better in coverage which really opens up the scheme for LSU's defense

Mo and it's not even close. People who say Tyrann either don't know FB or follow LSU that closely

Mo. Without him, they can't allow Mathieu the freedom to do what he does.

Honey badger is Great at stripping the ball. That's it. Ha wow. U realize what this kid has done. He leads the team in tackles also. Missed a game too. Come on now. He does alot more than strip. That's why he is up for the Walter camp award

He is great at tackling and otherwordly at stripping the ball without a doubt. He also has really good ball skills. The problem is he's pretty average when it comes to man on man coverage

At what they do for their position..... Mo. But if they had to switch positions... I'd lean towards TM7. As far as NFL draft goes... Mo goes high, and time will tell for TM7, probably a late rounder because of his size.

They play completely different positions and roles in our defense. Seeing how well TM7 played at FS on saturday amazed me as much as his punt return. He just balls.

Let's just take a second to sit back and appreciate what an amazing defensive coaching staff we have. It seems like every player on our defense is in position to make something happen on every play. And our defensive player development has been incredible.

TM7 is the better football player, Mo is the best DB on the team. Tyrann seems to have an uncanny understanding of the game ... moreso than anyone else on the field. If he had PP7's size he could be the most dominating player in college football.

Mathieu's cover ability is underrated, he does a good job also covering people, it's just that he is more known for his ballhawk skills, so doesn't get near the credit he deserves. Both are good at what they do, so I'm callin a tie!

It's Mo. They play corner and Mo is one of the best shut down cover corners in college and he also has great ball skills. TM7 makes big plays, but the better player is Mo.

Bottom line is I'm glad to have them both!

Mo is a shutdown corner. The only time they throw the ball his way is when the QB has a mental fark. Throwing his way deep and there is a 50% chance its going to be incomplete, and a 50% chance its going to be intercepted.

As a cornerback/cover guy, Mo.... for sure. As a play maker, TM7. Mo is thought to the best/one of the best corners in the nation.... TM7 can turn the momentum of a game in a heartbeat with his gutsy, aggressive play.
