What if the Wolves end up being decent and sneak into the 7 or 8 spot? They are still loaded with potential, could have two guys up for ROY (D. Williams and Rubio). Plus K. Love is a borderline all star. If they pick up a shooter, look out..

I think they'll be better than people are giving them credit for. But I doubt they make the playoffs because they are inexperienced. A LOT of young talent who will be a force one day.

downside is Jordan is in the last year of his deal and will prob get a nice contract since he is a 7 footer.
Does anybody know exactly how this works? I know he is a restricted free agent right now,if LA matches the offer sheet of another team, does that mean he would have to sign with LA for that contract offer, or does he just play the season under the qualifying offer?

no shot.
they won 17 games last year. They will almost be better by default. At best they prob double their win total. With a shortened schedule maybe 25-28 wins.

If they match the offer, the contract is the matched deal. The Clippers have already reached out to Gordon and Jordan about extending/resigning so by the time this goes down if Jordan is still a Clipper they both should be tied up for a decent amount of time.

The West will be alot weaker this year. New Orleans, Memphis, Portland and Denver will all be weakened dramatically. New Coach, tons of cap room, young players, Beasley and Love taking another step.. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility..

For future reference, in a case where the player doesnt want to sign with the team he currently plays for, what would happen?

Probably, but I wouldn't say that they are in the bottom third of the league. I'd hate for the center piece of the Paul trade ending up being the 12 pick of the draft.

He doesn't have a choice, that's what makes it Restricted Free Agency. If a team throws a max deal at Gasol and the Grizzlies match it then he remains with the Grizzlies.

Any chance of the Clips getting 1 out of CP/Dwight in a trade this year, and getting the other in FA next year? I doubt it would happen, but could you imagine the alleys being thrown on that team? That would be the best "big 3" in the league, easily.

They'd have no one to shoot the ball
