It pisses me off to think about this too. Even though bama is a damn good team, they weren't good enough to beat us. It's too bad that the rest of college football is full of pussies who lose to the likes of Iowa state and Texas tech. I got all stressed watching the LSU bama game for NOTHING. And that's exactly what that win meant...nothing. I just don't want to give Nicky the satisfaction of getting to the NCG.

I think voters outside the south will be hesitant to "support" a rematch. An all SEC BCS game may be more than many can bare. OSU has the computers and can get the human votes, VT probably not.

This. Plus, just talking about the computers here, Bama has a computer average of #3, OSU has a computer ranking of #2, even with their loss.

Let's be honest here.
I understand the "no rematch" logic because of the implications of if they beat us in the rematch, us winning at Tuscaloosa meant nothing.
But who is the number 2 team in the country? You're lying to yourself if you don't answer Alabama.
