I wonder how these so-called "awful" quarterbacks that SEC teams face week-in and week-out would fare statistically if they faced the same defenses the Big 12 and PAC 12 teams put on the field. SEC quarterbacks are mostly young, but they ARE talented and ARE facing top-notch defenses on a weekly basis.

I also wonder how great these "high powered" offenses would be if you placed them in the SEC.
Actually, I know how they would do---they'd be average just like ours.

Our "average" LSU quarterbacks have generally done very well in their bowl appearances.

I've heard this complaint alot about the SEC. They say "All it is, is a run game and defense league. They have no good QBs." I thought it was such a ridiculous statement.

QBing is weak this year, but next year it will be excellent

i think its more of a conservative approach you have to take offensively in this league. you cant win spreading it out like an oregon, okie lite, and OU do. you can win alot of games, but cant beat the bets 3 defenses on the sched

all of the high wire offenses that people have fallen in love with will most always lose when they face a team that can run the ball and play strong defense.
it's a formula that has & will always provide the most success---until the ncaa officials decide to change the rules..

This is a particularly bad QB year.

they obviously don't know football. the sec almost always crush these teams with their "great qbs'" because they throw for a zillion yards. they don't fare well against our defenses and their defenses suck.
