Tailgate TV question

I have Direct, but procrastinated too long to get a mobile dish, and receiver. What other optins do I have to catch signal while we are tailgating? Does anyone use an HD antenna with success, or should I try to access Direct through my laptop, connecting it to the TV? TIA

We use an HD antenna, but you need to buy a decent one to get a consistent signal.
This lets us get the 11:20 SEC game as well as the 2:30 SEC game, we can get the ABC 2:30 game also. This is usually all we want to watch anyway.

You can hook a laptop up and watch ESPN3 stuff also. You would just need to "borrow" an LSU wifi login. I've also been at a tailgate where a Slingbox was used. Aside from intermittent buffering, it was pretty awesome.
