Does the media still claim Alabama was better team? How much perception does the overtime fg negatively impact our victory to the media? Does that two inches of being out of bounds put Alabama in position for a rematch?

That's occurred to me too. An actual TD would have probably lessened the 'rematch' talk some....

I think a TD changes the perspective some for sure.

i have to be honest with you when i say "i have yet to hear the media say that alabama is the BETTER team". now, if you are talking about the bama fanbase, then that's different.

Is 12-6 really that much better than 9-6? Meh.

If JJ throws the ball 6 inches lower and to the left to Randle would we hear this, "Bama beat themselves" bullshite?

wish we would have run the option on the goal line at the end of the half instead of ramming Ware into the line. i believe Ford/JJ would have gotten 7 for us. they were killing them on the pitch play.

You do realize that it is the medias job to make the games more interesting and promote their product right? What good would it do to say "Well LSU and Bama are the best 2 teams and can't be beat by anyone"? They are all about promoting the product and the best way to do that is giving more teams "Hope"....

with that TD, it would lessen the idea that a field goal won it.
Also, they all forget to mention that our 2 INTs lead to their 6 points.

LSU was inside the 10 THREE times.

Alabama missed 4 fields goals that their kicker had no chance of making because they were inside of LSU's 25 yard line ONCE.
