OP-not a flame on you, but I don't want to put up with this 2QB system anymore. Plus, Mett will be way better than what we have currently.

No we need to have 1 QB, hopefully nest year, Mett will be all we need. Right now, obviously we need the 2 together to move the ball. But I always favor a 1 QB system.

I really can't say because CLM has done a damn good job with 2 QB's that I think it's in his nature to have 2. With that being said, I hope Mettenberger takes the QB job with force!

2007 was still a lot different than this season.. flynn was still the quarterback.
i think it will be very similar to that or even less. i really believe mett will be the guy with an occasional dual threat qb (randall maybe)

He won't need it per se, but I have a feeling Randall will be a difference maker. Wouldn't be surprised to see him take the reigns after Mett if Rivers doesn't take hold of it.

If Randall sees time at QB soon it would probably be 90-10 Mett to him just because Les loves that mobile QB.

Yeah JR has the strongest arm of all the QB's we have. Can throw the ball over 80 yrds, and supposedly a 4.5type runner. Can't wait.
