Landon Collins is a lock for LSU... JMO. Watching his best friend Reid make that catch had to have him going crazy!

Also Channing Ward has now seen LSU beat Alabama, MSU, and Florida in person. That has to be weighing on his mind

Edit to add... Not to mention all of the other recruits tuned into the game. Also the recruits were not out partying last night lol. LSU basically took over the strip

I don't think Collins is a lock at all. I feel good about our chances, and certainly last night couldn't have hurt us, but it will come down to who he wanted to win deep down last night. Hopefully it was his homestate tigers.

Like I said, just my opinion but people felt that the winner would have an edge and now that it was the home team, I don't think LSU has to make up any ground

Where did you hear they were best friends? They went to the same school, but far from best friends.

They aren't best buddies but they are still good friends. I recall Collins saying they talk quite often and after every game for sure.

Also, he had Dwayne Thomas with him for the weekend, so that helps for LSU

I would never consider Landon a lock, but after the events of yesterday, I like our chances a lot more

Yeah, I don't think we could do anymore than we have done. Thomas playing at LSU is much bigger draw than Reid. I think he comes here in the end.

good point Tiger. I am on the same side as u. Kid has admitted he was enamored with Saban and bama was his team.

Of course this game helped LSU greatly with recruits, especially the fact that it killed the post game party for all the visiting recruits at bama.

Reid and Collins aren't best friends but they are friends, and Reid playing so well had to help some. Thomas is not doubt a larger factor though.

I think this game has to help bama in recruiting kickers... "come kick for us and we win that game vs LSU"

It defiantly killed the post party/entertaining atmosphere no doubt. I hope he has known his decision and went to see a great game, while being able to build relationships to recruit in the end for NSD.

disagree 100%, Bama lock, his GF is a big Bama homer; tied in with Bama admin. If I were a better man, I would put it on Bama.

Just a vibe, but his communications have seemed very pro Bama to me. Don't think anyone knows where he will go but I would bet it's far from over.

garryowen, reminds me of Russell Shepard. His girlfriend worked (and still works?) for LSU. The COST? Four games to start the year.
