Sure. Boise State faced a tougher opponent than LSU did...the lights of Las Vegas.

Yeah he will because he'll say that Boise's offense will light us up, and that we cannot score.

Yes and his name will still be out there because he did. It's just a play for some attention

He really should have his vote taken away. He's the only person who lives outside of Idaho and maybe Utah who thinks Boise State is the best team in the country.

I watched an interview a couple weeks ago that he did with Rece Davis, Craig James and Jesse Palmer (I think it was Palmer) and they picked his arguments apart. Basically voting them number 1 because of their past wins which is foolish!

this site is pretty interesting.

AP Voting

you can drill down on any of the AP voters and see how they vote. this site puts their votes into percentiles and classifies 'extreme' votes etc.

there are obviously guys who get a kick out of going against the grain, which isn't necessarily a bad thing unless there is kool-aid involved. in this case it looks like L.A. Kool-Aid. But i think in general there may be an oversupply of Kool-Aid in California.

And I think you can get a license to drink it there too..

AP's arrogance is the reason why their vote is insignificant when it comes to the best team in CFB debate. After the USC thing, they told the BCS that they can't use their poll to determine the champion thinking the public would demand the BCS to make changes.

BCS told them to go to hell. Created a new poll w/ less attention whores and now AP poll is irrelevent.

After watching his interview a couple of weeks ago when he was being grilled about the absurdity of his vote I came to the conclusion that the HIV will remove him from the voting rolls soon enough.

You are wrong for saying that, even though your statement is probably true

Irrelevant to the BCS formula, but it wasn't to LSU fans when OU was listed as #1 in the Coaches poll and LSU #1 in the AP.

If anything, the coaches don't have time to pay attention to LSU's games. Their poll is really less credible. The NC remains a myth, no matter the BCS.

Its irrelevent. Sure its nice to say LSU is #1 in a poll but #1 in the AP is just a talking point.
