- Week off before Bama.
- Scheduling out of conference game after Bama

To be honest - State and florida thought they would compete for the SECC. Doolander thought that they had the revenge game against LSU

It's been like this the past couple of years. Ever since Alabama became a top team we scheduled a bye before them and a cupcake team next. Before that scheduling surrounded around the Florida game.

We've had Bama - shite non conf - Ole Miss - Arkansas for several years now. Don't quite remember about the bye week before Bama, but I think we've had that for a few years too.
