Im not against the concept but for weeks now, I've been hoping that either LSU or Bama gets Boise at the end.

If Boise plays Stanford or Okie St, it will be a scorefest. Screw that, Boise needs to be thoroughly humbled by a team that stones their offense while siultaneously running the ball down their throat all night!!!

Bama had their chance and couldn't get it done...at their house, no less.

They're in our rearview mirror now. Better things ahead.

That would be unfair to LSU. No rematch, LSU handled their business.

I would prefer either Boise St or Stanford to be honest.

With Boise St., I think we put to rest the myth.

With Stanford, we get what should be a very good game against a great quaterback.

Unfair to LSU - agreed. We have been through the gauntlet this year and succeeded resoundingly. But we still have 4 more games (SEC Champ included if we win out). Bama doesn't have to play SECCG, but they will argue they get another shot at the best? No way.

I agree, why should we have to beat Bama twice in one season to win the Championship.

I would rather see LSU vs Stanford, so that we can say we beat the cream of the crop for the Pac 12 in 2011.

Wait, are we the same fanbase who slams the AP (bc of 2003). Play it out and let the computers do their thing. If we play them again, we play them again. Why so scared?

because rematches always favor the loser of the first game

Unless other teams start losing a lot it will never ever happen.

The best case scenario would have been if Bama was in the East and still made it to the SEC Championship game and then beat LSU. A NC tiebreaker would be amazing, but even this scenario would still have to rely on a bunch of 2 loss BCS teams.

This thread has gotten off track. I'd very much enjoy a rematch.

I'm just COMPLETELY over the Boise crap and want them to abused by Bama or LSU.

But most of us were hoping for a rematch if we lost.

With that said, Bama was at home so maybe they dont deserve a rematch.

But then again, if we can beat them at home, I know we can beat them in New Orleans.

As recent as 1996 , Florida did it against FSU - and for them it was a revenge game in the Sugar Bowl for the national title.

For LSU it would merely be a repeat of 2003 Georgia - beating them home and away
