All of those top recruiting classes but not one damn kicker...

Saban could recruit a roster full of 5 star linebackers but none of those guys will kick the clutch FG for him when he needs one or two or three. Saban is the king of February but Miles is the best team assembler in the country.

I love how their long field goal kicker cannot kick the long ball. His range was worse than his accuracy.

Cue those upset that we give scholarships to special teams like Wing, Hairston, and now Ferguson.
If you play ball-control football, then you absolutely must have good special teams, and we definitely do.

That's one thing, believe it or not, that Sherman has done well on.
Randy Bullock has only 3 misses on the year. Two came during the OU game into a 25 mph wind. He has a career-long of 56.
Taylor Bertolet (3 stars: recruited last year from PENNSYLVANIA of all places) won the UnderArmor game last year and has four 60+ yarders under his belt. He's redshirting this year and will play from 2012-2015.

That kid Foster was actually the #3 kicker coming out of high school and we wanted him.
